Dear Colleagues,
we invite you to participate in the 9th International Conference on Business management in the Digital Economy to be held on 19th-20th March 2026 in St. Petersburg State University, RUSSIA. The Conference sessions are planned in person, and we organize special online panels for participants from Cangzhou Normal University, Uzbekistan, and BRICS+ countries.

The conference is dedicated to exploring the impact of data and artificial intelligence on business processes, consumer behavior, investment and product economics, educational processes, and the new challenges for government regulation and corporate governance.

Target audience: researchers, teachers, master and postgraduate students, company managers and specialists, public officers.

Participation: submission of a paper of 2000−3000 words (see templates).

Registration is open from November 1st, 2025, to January 10th, 2026.

Accommodation and travel expenses to the conference venue are to be covered by the participants.

1. Compilation of conference papers (electronics form), indexed in Russian Science Citation Index.
2. At the request of authors, the Organizing Committee provides the article review for publication in the St Petersburg University Journal of Economics, indexed in EBSCO, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, eLIBRARY.ru, EastView, CyberLeninka, Russian Science Citation Index on the Web of Science platform, Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science Core Collection), Scopus Q3.

Articles not meeting the formal requirements are not reviewed and may be rejected.

Example of the article (2000-3000 words)

Recommended article structure:
  • Introduction and statement of the theoretical, methodology, or practical problem
  • Existing theoretical or practical solutions to the problem (results of literature review)
  • Methodology of the author's research/solution
  • Justification and description of the data
  • Academic and managerial results and conclusions
  • Limitations and future research directions

Requirements for references
  • Recommended number: 10-12 references
  • Academic articles and monographs indexed in international research databases, analytical reports (no more than 3)
  • If the article contains calculation results, the sources of data used must be indicated
  • The following are NOT accepted as references: textbooks, popular and descriptive articles

Use of AI
When preparing the article, AI may be used as a tool for data searching and structuring; however, all AI-generated information must be verified by the authors.

  1. Please use Times New Roman font, size 12, line spacing – 1, alignment – justified; paragraph indentation – 0.75 cm. Please use the styles specified in the article example below. 
  2. Tables and figures must be numbered and titled. Sources of tables are indicated under the table. Tables font size is 10 or 11, spacing 1.
  3. Page numbering is not required!
  4. Footnotes should be automatic and at the bottom of the page, without square or other brackets!

Information
Since the collection is uploaded to RSCI base, we need to meet the requirements:
  1. Provide information about the author(s): full name, position and academic degree, affiliation, email.
  2. After the title, include an abstract (no more than one paragraph) and keywords (no more than 8).
  3. After the article, include a numbered list of references (no more than 12 sources). Please note that the example shows the correct way to cite electronic sources.
  4. In the end, you include acknowledgements or grant details.
