Situation with coronavirus disease

In order to follow the recommendations of the Emergency Response Center to Prevent the Spread of the New Coronavirus in Russia, the Directorate of St. Petersburg State University has decided to cancel all conferences and meetings, which are scheduled to be held in SPBU campuses before the end of June, and to reschedule them at a later date.

The 2020 NDACC-IRWG&TCCON organizing committee consider the possibility to postpone the Meeting. If postponement is made within this year, all organizational fees already paid will be held on the SPBU account until the Meeting. If postponement is made for next year, all organizational fees will be refunded at a current exchange rates minus bank commission fees.

Currently, there are 36 registered cases in the Russian Federation (2 cases in St. Petersburg), 3 of them are already recovered.

The government of the Russian Federation issued a number of decrees in order to prevent the penetration of the COVID-19 virus into the territory of the Russian Federation:

  • Since 20/02/2020, the admission of citizens of the People's Republic of China to the territory of the Russian Federation has been temporarily suspended.
  • Since 07/03/2020, the admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the territory of the Russian Federation has been temporarily suspended.
  • Since 13/03/2020, the admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving from the territory of the Italian Republic to the territory of the Russian Federation has been temporarily suspended.
  • Currently and until further note, all passengers arriving from and departing to China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, France, Spain, and Germany are passed only through Terminal F at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.
