Organized by St. Petersburg UniversityAim of the conference – to provide an opportunity for scientific dialogue to Slavists in the study of topical issues of Slavonic studies, Slavonic linguistics, Slavonic literary studies and intercultural contacts.
Among the topics to be discussed at the conference are the following:
Slavonic Lexicology and Lexicography (towards the 100th anniversary of Galina Alekseevna Lilich, Honorary Professor of St. Petersburg State University):- the role of the scientific heritage of Doctor of Philology, Professor Galina Alekseevna Lilich in the development of Slavic lexicology and lexicography;
- actual problems of comparative Russian-Slavonic lexicology and linguoculturology;
- traditions and innovations of Slavonic lexicography;
- problems of studying and teaching lexicology of Slavonic languages in university courses.
Intercultural relations of the Slavonic world:- inter-Slavonic cultural contacts; the problem of cultural transfer in the intellectual space of the Slavonic world; the phenomenon of transnational prose;
- issues of inter-Slavonic translation and interrelation of Slavonic cultures; history of translated fiction of Slavonic countries and comparative translation problems; current problems of theory and practice of literary translation;
- the problem of reception in the space of Slavonic literatures; perception of Russian culture and other Slavonic cultures in non-Slavonic countries; theatre and cinema of the Slavonic world; traditions of national theaters of Slavonic countries; perception of Slavonic drama and cinema in non-Slavonic countries;
- problems of comparative historical study and teaching of Slavonic literatures and comparative Slavonic literary studies in university courses.
Other actual issues of Slavonic Philology and Slavonic studies:- Grammar of Slavonic Languages;
- Slavonic Phraseology;
- Slavonic Paremiology;
- intellectual history in the Slavonic world;
- socio-political thought of the Slavs in the era of National Renaissance;
- inter-Slavonic cultural relations from the Middle Ages to Modern Times (specifics and problems of study);
- the national identity of the Slavs in the foreign cultural environment.
Possible topics are not limited to those listed.
Languages of the conference: Russian & English & All Slavonic languages
Program includes presentations (up to 15 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion).
Submission process:
Abstracts (with a volume of 5000-6000 characters with spaces) should be submitted before June 15, 2026 via
online form.
Proceedings will be published in a separate electronic collection of the St. Petersburg State University Publishing House with subsequent indexing in the RSCI.
Authors of the selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers (with a volume of 25000-40000 characters with spaces) in the leading refereed academic journals.
Papers submitted to the conference must not be under review by any other conference or publication, and must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Submissions are restricted to at most two per applicant and each applicant may submit only one abstract as a first author.

Registration fee: 1600 rubles (per paper).
A certificate of participation in the conference is issued in case of a successful presentation with a report included in the program and subject to timely payment of the registration fee.
